Role

Biovit is seeking an innovator to transform ordinary ingredients into the extraordinary, demonstrating superior absorption using our cutting-edge nanotechnology process. You will play a key role to our R&D; discovering the most efficient & effective nutrient combinations and delivery systems, to maximize the absorption of nutrients that reach the human body.

Responsibilities:

1. Formulation Optimization: Utilize your expertise in biochemistry and/or food chemistry to create next-level high absorption nutrients, designing and conducting experiments to unlock the secrets of our formulations, discover potent ingredient combinations and innovative delivery systems for the incorporation into fortified foods, beverages, and dietary supplements. (Previous experience of formulation(s) is not a must, however biochemistry/food chemistry knowledge is a must).
2. Product Testing: Design and conduct experiments & assays to evaluate the performance, stability, and bioavailability of our formulations. Utilize analytical techniques and laboratory equipment to assess the physical, chemical, and sensory properties of the products, ensuring they meet requirements and consumer expectations.
3. Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control measures to guarantee the safety and consistency of our creations. Work with 3rd party consulting teams to tackle challenges and ensure our products meet the highest standards of excellence.
4. Market Readiness: Work towards the timely development and launch of market-ready products, meeting project deadlines and milestones. Will coordinate with marketing, production, and supply chain teams to streamline the commercialization process and ensure successful product launches.
5. Documentation and Reporting: Keep detailed records of experiments, results, and progress. Share your findings through comprehensive reports and presentations, enlightening our team and stakeholders with your discoveries.

Requirements:

1. PhD (preferred) in Biochemistry, Food Science, or related field.
2. Experience in formulation and/or product development in the food or dietary supplement industry, preferred but not required.
3. Strong understanding of food- and/or bio-chemistry, nutrient bioavailability, analytical techniques, and comfortable in a lab environment.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
6. Effective communication and presentation skills.
