Role Overview
BnM is seeking a Communications Graduate to join its team in Newbridge on a fixed term contract. The Communications Graduate provides operational, organisational and administrative support to the Comms & Engagement team, ensuring that day-to-day activities and wider departmental functions run smoothly. The role supports documentation management, financial and procurement processes, internal communication and meeting coordination, while maintaining strong governance, confidentiality and compliance standards.
You will be a central point of support and coordination, helping the team stay organised, efficient and focused on its core priorities. You will also have the opportunity to own specific projects within each function of Comms & Engagement, most notably in Community Benefit Funds, Sponsorship, Events and PR.
Key Responsibilities
- Project and team support: support the CSR team with the management of Community Benefit Funds, donation requests and sponsorship activity and create relevant SOPs; research credible industry awards and manage applications; track press release document control, filing and distribution; support onboarding of new and returning team members; and assist in tracking project timelines, documentation and reporting requirements.
- Document, data and systems management: store, organise and manage documentation on SharePoint with correct versioning and accessibility; act as the central point for version control of approved branded materials; ensure documents meet brand, quality and governance standards; and maintain team data records, registers and audit trails.
- Meetings, coordination and engagement support: schedule and coordinate meetings, workshops and team sessions; prepare and distribute agendas and papers; take minutes and follow up actions; and support engagement activities such as public consultations, including materials, logistics and technical needs.
- Finance, procurement and compliance: create and process purchase orders on Oracle, assist with PO tracking, supplier onboarding and invoice processing, administer team timesheets, and maintain accurate financial records in line with procurement procedures and audit policies.
- Communication and stakeholder liaison: work with the Internal Comms Executive to deliver internal events, support internal communications within the team, and liaise with internal departments to support the flow of information.
- Community relations and engagement: manage incoming and outgoing post, scan and share documents including feedback forms and consultation materials, handle confidential information in line with data protection and organisational policies, maintain filing systems, trackers, logs and registers, and attend consultation events as required.
- All employees are expected to co-operate fully with the company’s provisions for ensuring the health, safety and welfare of co-employees and members of the public using the premises, and to participate proactively in the Performance Management process.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree qualification, ideally in a business-related discipline
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of English
- Strong organisational, administrative and multitasking skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- An action-oriented, results-driven, proactive mindset, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience using SharePoint or similar document management systems, and Oracle or similar finance and procurement systems
- Previous experience in a fast-paced commercial or corporate environment, and experience supporting events, consultations and stakeholder engagement
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required to attend community meetings or events
- Additional qualifications in stakeholder engagement, negotiation, mediation, GIS or project management would be desirable
