You'll work alongside senior technologists, gain exposure to cutting edge platforms, and have a clear path to permanent employment as an Associate Consultant.
You'll be guaranteed an interview for a permanent role upon successful completion of the 12-week training programme, mentorship from experienced consultants, and the chance to work across multiple technology domains from day one.
What You'll Do
12 Week Intensive Training Programme
You'll complete a structured hybrid training programme while on a paid training contract. You'll work on real world projects and gain hands on experience from the start.
The programme gives you depth and breadth across the technologies that matter most in modern consulting. You’ll gain in‑demand expertise across AI, Python, SQL, Linux, and Web Application Development—building strong, future‑ready software engineering skills that set you up for an exciting and successful tech career. Beyond technical skills, you'll learn design thinking and customer facing delivery techniques that transform you from a technologist into a trusted consultant.
In your final four weeks, you’ll dive deep into Java before taking on a real‑world business project, applying everything you’ve learned to solve an authentic industry challenge.

The Role Structure
Weeks 1–12 - Paid training
Week 12 - Final interview for permanent contract
Month 6 - 5% salary increase (performance based)
Month 12 - 5% salary increase (performance based)
Month 18 - 10% salary increase (performance based)

Our Digital Skills Academies would be great if you:
- Have received a university degree classification of 2:2 in any STEM subject
- Love getting stuck into problem-solving and you don’t give up easily!
- Are passionate about technology
- Eligible to work in the UK/ Ireland
- Eligibility and willingness to travel across offices in the EU and UK to meet with our stakeholders and customers. (Travel Costs covered by Version 1)
- An added bonus if you have previous IT work experience or you participated in a Tech Bootcamp/course
Additional Information
Hybrid Working Model
We are proud to offer a highly effective hybrid working model and require all associate members to work from our Version 1 Office 3 days each week. This means that you must be able to travel to our impressive Dublin tech hub located at Four Park Place, Hatch Street Upper/Harcourt Road (Dublin 2) to be considered.
