Electronics Technician

The Electronics Technician as a member of the production team will be responsible for the debug and repair of electronics modules and assemblies as well as the day to day support of test equipment and related production processes.

 

  • Debug of circuit board assemblies failing functional and in-circuit test.
  • Setup and production support of in-circuit and custom functional test stations, power supplies and measuring instruments.
  • Analysis of non-conforming products returned by Customers and completion of detailed reports.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately, clearly and completely in line with specific procedures, GMP & GDP standards.
  • Interface with Customers for ideal Test equipment/program set up
  • Demonstrate a quality culture within a team environment, ensuring that procedures and work methods for the area are accurate and fully complied with.
  • Willing to be flexible and open to learning, and training in new processes.
  • Maintain required levels of timekeeping and attendance.
  • Adhere fully to all health and safety policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Maintain the designated place of work in a clean and tidy state at all times and ensure all housekeeping requirements are met.
  • Support the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) function and agenda within the business.
  • Participate in improvement projects and other reasonable tasks as outlined by the supervisor/manager
  • Introduce and Maintain relevant Troubleshooting guides and knowledge sharing documents.

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous relevant demonstrable board repair experience using test and diagnostics equipment, both analog and digital circuits, including logic and processor systems.
  • A good understanding of electronics principles and experience interpreting circuit diagrams.
  • L6 or higher qualification in Electronics or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable Debug and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.

Desirable

  • Experience working on SMT circuit board technology.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience working in a medical manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience in a target-driven environment.
  • Computer literacy using Word, Excel, Access
  • Excellent time and attendance record.
