Graduate Design Engineer

We are currently looking for a Graduate Project Engineer who has excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. You will be a vital part of the team and will be helping contribute to the continued growth of Sygma Automation.

Job Description

  • Assist in the design and development of Engineering Control Systems and Building Management System (BMS) graphics.
  • Produce high-quality electrical schematics using the SEE Electrical drawing package.
  • Coordinate project equipment procurement, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with field commissioning engineers to support successful project commissioning.
  • Maintain and track site data files and manage project resources effectively.
  • Provide direct customer support remotely over IP, ensuring client satisfaction and prompt issue resolution. 

Requirements

  • A Degree or Higher Certificate (or equivalent) in Electrical, Electronic, or Building Services Engineering.
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with CAD drawing packages (experience with SEE Electrical is a plus).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
  • Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
  • A proactive and flexible approach, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
