Key Responsibilities:

As a participant in the ESB Undergraduate Programme, you will gain comprehensive exposure to various facets of our operations. Depending on the specific role, responsibilities may include:

  • Website, Digital & Social Media: Assist in creating and executing campaigns across social media platforms. Contribute to the creation of engaging content for the ESB Networks website. Manage the social media calendar and develop innovative ideas to boost engagement.
  • Events Management & PR: Support the planning and execution of key events, both internal and external. Participate in PR activities for various campaigns and initiatives.
  • Internal Communications: Contribute to the development and implementation of internal communications initiatives. Assist in keeping the team informed and aligned through regular updates.
  • Customer Engagement: Support customer communication initiatives and ensure timely and helpful information is provided.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations within the team.
  • Agency Coordination: Coordinate with creative, digital, and media agencies to deliver high-quality campaigns.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • To succeed in this role, you should possess or be working towards a minimum 2.1 Honours Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business, Marketing, CX) and have the following attributes:
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Passion for marketing, communications, and digital platforms.
  • Analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Financial acumen and understanding of budgeting principles.
  • Proactive and able to take initiative without constant supervision.

The roles are primarily based in Dublin, with opportunities for remote and hybrid work arrangements as part of our commitment to sustainable solutions.

Contract:

This is a fixed-term contract position, offering valuable experience and exposure within ESB’s various functions.
