Our People Consulting (PC) professionals assist our clients in successfully defining, implementing and sustaining their people agenda. We provide our clients with a set of integrated services and offerings solving their most pertinent people-related business issues. Our core service offerings include people analytics, organisational design, change management, leadership development, cultural assessment and development, and talent management.

The Opportunity
Joining the People Consulting team in EY will provide you with the opportunity to work on some of the most interesting and complex transformation programmes in Ireland. Our team, in partnership with our clients, seek to ensure the long-term sustainability and embedding of major organisational transformation programmes.
Our work is varied and challenging; from creating an organisation design that determines effective organisation solutions to embedding cultural and behavioural change across an organisation. We manage communications and stakeholders, plan and implement change journeys and offer an understanding of the HR structures, practices and policies required to support the organisation. Our team works directly with clients or alongside client data teams to deliver solutions in the areas of strategic workforce planning; talent acquisition & workforce migration; workforce performance; diversity & inclusion; learning & development; and retention.

Skills and attributes for success:
- Have experience using relevant tools, templates and coding languages including one or more of the following tools, SAS, SPSS, R, SQL or Python, tableau, PowerBI, qlikview or spotfire
- Highly numerate with a strong technical knowledge and experience of applying analytical and modelling techniques to provide insights to business issues
- Be professional, quickly establishing personal credibility and demonstrating expertise.
- Have strong personal impact and resilience and be able to influence clients and stakeholders to gain support for major changes and key decisions.
- Be pragmatic - taking a practical approach to solving issues and gaining client agreement
- Be able to analyse complex problems and to deliver insightful, practical, and sustainable solutions.
- Be focused on achieving project / programme goals and objectives
- Be adept at overcoming issues and barriers
- Be experienced of full project lifecycle from concept through to implementation
- Drive the successful delivery of projects and products using strong project management and deployment focused activities.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting delivery on projects and/ or workstreams, primarily in people analytics, workforce planning, data analytics and insights but may include other core service offerings. Working as part of delivery teams and supporting and owning deliverables. Responsible for working with teams and management to implement project plans
- Responsible for supporting across project management, people analysis, and supporting the PAS practice
- Facilitate the deployment of workforce analytics methodologies used to drive key business decisions
- Be responsible for analytics modelling projects and initiatives, engaging with key executives, and driving the overall consumption and reliance on analytics insights derived.
- Provide consultative and analytic support and technical expertise in the implementation of workforce measurement initiatives.
- Able to work with very large data sets where required
- Build key partnerships with Talent Project leaders to understand and deliver on business needs
- Generate innovative ideas and solutions that improve products, insights and our ability to efficiently deliver.
- Work collaboratively with clients including Service Line leaders to understand Talent analytics requirements and the problem at hand, define / execute the analytics approach, and communicate the insights and recommendations.
- Remain current on strategic workforce management tools, techniques, strategies, and practices to provide effective and efficient consultative advice to business clients.
- Research and review new analytics tools in the market to leverage and learn from.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Professional experience including a relevant degree qualification
- A deep appreciation and passion for data, analytics and be highly numerate
- Ability to quickly grasp complex business problems and develop appropriate solutions
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and develop strong working relationships with colleagues and our clients
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- An appreciation of data, systems and technologies used to drive strategic people analytics
- Experience in data analysis and using data to solve complex business problems
- Experience with data tools, for example Alteryx, Cloudera, Hadoop (and other Big Data solutions), Informatica, Qlik, Tableau, Teradata, PowerBI
