How to Apply

At EY, our mission is to build a better working world. To do this, we need to attract and recruit the very best talent regardless of background. Students from all universities, academic disciplines and backgrounds are welcome to apply – including those from business, science, engineering, arts, humanities, health, law, and more.

The EY Ireland application process:

  • Step 1: When applying to an EY Ireland Graduate or Internship Programme, we ask all applicants to submit their online application form and CV via the EY Careers site , Linkedin, University Careers Portal or relevant jobs board.
  • Step 2: Once your application form has been submitted and reviewed by the EY Student Recruitment team, selected candidates will be invited to complete our new interactive online assessment.

  • The EY online assessment contains 2 stages, which includes:
  • Scenario-based questions, where you will be asked to rank order the actions you would be likely to take from most likely, to least likely.
  • Slider questions, where you will be asked to indicate your response to a statement using a sliding scale.
  • Video questions, where you will be asked to record a short video response to questions asked. You will be given preparation time for these videos and will need to appear on camera.
  • Written questions, where you will be asked to type a response to a given question.

  • Please note that only applicants who are successful at stage 1 of the assessment process will progress to stage 2.
  • We know that assessment processes can be daunting, especially if you don't have much experience or know what to expect, so to help you navigate these assessments, we have launched the new EY Ireland Preparation Plus website, where you can learn about your values and learning style, understand your strengths, and practice answering general assessment and video questions.

  • To further set you up for success, visit our FAQ page , which is designed to answer any questions you may have in relation to the assessment process.

  • Step 3: Successful applicants will be invited to a final interview stage with the EY leadership team. This is a strengths-based interview and will take place either in-person or virtually (Using MS Teams). If your interview is confirmed as in-person, this will take place in the office location you have applied for. If you are invited to an interview with EY Ireland, more details will be shared with you on confirmation, and our dedicated Student Recruitment team will be on hand to answer any questions you might have.
