Job Summary:
We are looking for a
highly skilled Dental Field Service Engineer with specialized experience in
digital X-ray systems, Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT), Orthopantomography
(OPG), phosphor plate scanners, CAD/CAM systems, and network and dial-in
software support. The successful candidate will be responsible for the
installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced digital imaging
equipment in dental practices, ensuring they operate at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Installation and
Integration:
- Install and set up digital X-ray systems,
CBCT, OPG units, phosphate scanners, and CAD/CAM equipment in dental offices.
- Ensure proper integration of imaging
systems with existing practice management software and networks.
2. Maintenance and
Troubleshooting:
- Conduct regular maintenance and
inspections of digital imaging equipment to prevent downtime.
- Diagnose technical issues related to
imaging systems and software, providing prompt and effective repairs.
3. Technical Support:
- Offer remote and on-site technical support
for network and dial-in software, ensuring seamless operation of all systems.
- Provide training to dental staff on the
correct usage of digital imaging equipment and software applications.
4. Documentation and
Compliance:
- Maintain detailed records of service
activities, including installation reports, maintenance logs, and customer
interactions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards
and regulations related to dental imaging equipment.
5. Customer Relationship
Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships
with dental professionals, understanding their needs and providing exceptional
customer service.
- Gather feedback to improve service
offerings and enhance customer satisfaction.
6. Continuous Learning:
- Stay current with advancements in digital
dental technology, imaging systems, and software solutions.
- Participate in ongoing training and
development programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in
Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in a field
service role preferred but not essential,
- Strong technical
knowledge of digital Imaging systems and software applications.
- Excellent
problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Strong interpersonal
and communication skills, with a customer-focused mind-set.
- Ability to work
independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Willingness to travel
for on-site service and support.
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Experience with IT
networking and troubleshooting related to dental systems.
- Familiarity with
regulatory requirements and best practices in dental imaging.
