recent university graduate with a passion for Electrical Engineering to join
our dynamic team. This graduate role provides an excellent opportunity to

The Role: As a Graduate
Electrical Engineer at MTM Engineering, you will be involved in the delivery of
critical infrastructure projects, gaining hands-on experience in areas such as
project design, installation, and technical problem-solving. You'll play a key
role in supporting the engineering team with a variety of technical tasks,
contributing to the successful completion of high-profile projects.

voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) cable installation, termination services,
busbar, and containment solutions. Headquartered in Ireland, we deliver
mission-critical projects for a wide range of customers across Europe and
beyond. Our expertise spans sectors including data centres, pharmaceuticals,
renewables, power generation, and critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  •  Involved in the latest
    technology data centre construction projects in Ireland, the UK and across
    Europe
  • Reviewing project technical
    specifications and drawings to understand the operational requirements of MTM
    Engineering projects
  • Use of BIM navigational
    tools to view and analyse building 3D models as required for projects
  • Selection of suitable cable
    installation accessories required for cable installation and preparing
    technical submittals for approval by the client
  • Reviewing construction
    drawings and BIM Models to understand and define electrical routings required
    on site
  • Generation of Requests For
    Information (RFI) to client to seek clarity on specification requirements
  • Liaising with clients,
    suppliers and the wider MTM Engineering team to obtain solutions to issues as
    they arise
  • Periodic site visits to
    review site progress and discuss any changes required with other MTM
    Engineering team members
  • Organisation of workload to
    suit priorities as agreed with the MTM Engineering team
  • Completion of assigned tasks
    to agreed timelines
  • Specification and
    procurement of electrical equipment to match specifications provided by clients
    and suppliers
  • Participation in team
    discussions on any issues identified.

Requirements:

We understand you are likely
be at the very beginning of your career in Electrical engineering, so we

  • A degree in Electrical
    Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong interest in
    Electrical Engineering and a desire to develop technical expertise.
  • Excellent written and verbal
    communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and
    problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage time
    effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and
    commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to work
    independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • A flexible attitude with a
    willingness to travel for site visits in Ireland, the UK, and Europe, as
    required.
