Graduate Engineer
At Design ID, we are seeking ambitious Graduate Engineers to join our growing Dublin team in Summer 2027. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a diverse range of civil, structural and infrastructure projects while receiving support from experienced engineers, associates and directors.

The Opportunity
As a Graduate Engineer, you will work alongside experienced engineers and technical specialists, supporting projects from concept through to construction.
You'll gain exposure to:
- Engineering calculations and design
- Technical reports and feasibility studies
- Site visits and inspections
- CAD, BIM and engineering software
- Planning and regulatory processes
- Project coordination and delivery
- Client and stakeholder engagement
- Multidisciplinary project teams
Unlike many larger organisations, you'll benefit from meaningful responsibility early in your career and direct access to senior decision-makers.
What We're Looking For
We're interested in students graduating in Summer 2027 with a degree in:
- Civil Engineering
- Structural Engineering
- Civil & Structural Engineering
- Infrastructure Engineering
- Engineering with a related discipline
You should have:
- Strong academic performance
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication abilities
- A positive and proactive attitude
- A desire to learn and develop professionally
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
Previous placement, internship, or industry experience is desirable but not essential.
