As a Hardware Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Develop, review, and write test procedures for storage system products.
- Plan and execute system-level testing throughout the product lifecycle, including environmental test planning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during testing and product release.
- Document and coordinate test schedules with external resources.
- Review partner or supplier test plans and collaborate with tool engineers to define test requirements.
- Lead debug efforts to identify root causes of field failures.
- Participate in technical discussions and evaluate test plans for products.
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities that contribute to team, department, and company goals.
Job Requirements
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with basic concepts of design engineering and system testing.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and high-quality standards.
- Strong aptitude for learning new processes and procedures.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience
- Equivalent experience will also be considered.
