As a Hardware Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop, review, and write test procedures for storage system products.
  • Plan and execute system-level testing throughout the product lifecycle, including environmental test planning.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during testing and product release.
  • Document and coordinate test schedules with external resources.
  • Review partner or supplier test plans and collaborate with tool engineers to define test requirements.
  • Lead debug efforts to identify root causes of field failures.
  • Participate in technical discussions and evaluate test plans for products.
  • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities that contribute to team, department, and company goals.

Job Requirements

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with basic concepts of design engineering and system testing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and high-quality standards.
  • Strong aptitude for learning new processes and procedures.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Equivalent experience will also be considered.
