With the Bord Bia Talent Academy International Graduate Programme, you will earn a fully funded MSc Global Business Practice alongside getting real world experience on placement in Bord Bia. This programme combines academic learning from the leading UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School with practical experience whilst on placement in one of Bord Bia’s global network of 15 offices.
What is involved:
Our International Graduates gain extensive academic learning and practical experience in sustainability, consumer insights, export development, marketing and branding, innovation and more. Modules are delivered alongside your placement meaning you can put theory into practice and compliment the classroom learning working on real-world projects for Bord Bia.
This programme has 40 unique learning placements meaning there really is something for everyone. From human resources to sustainability, marketing, consumer insights, events, communications, the various sectors such as meat, dairy, alcohol, and our overseas markets.
You could be assisting on international trade shows, TV campaigns, the Bord Bia Bloom yearly event, farmer engagement, sustainability initiatives, hosting workshops and more.
What we offer:
- All tuition fees covered for a MSc Global Business Practice with UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.
- A generous scholarship bursary, between €2,000 - €2,300 paid to you monthly (amount dependent on your assigned location on the programme).
- Extensive career development focus on the programme with career coaching and a CV booklet shared with industry at the end of the programme.
What we look for:
- We have a passion for the food, drink and horticulture industry, so if you feel the same, you’ve found the right programme for you.
- This programme has placements in both our Dublin HQ and our overseas offices meaning there are plenty of opportunities if you have no second language, but if you happen to speak any of the following; French, Italian, German, Spanish, or Mandarin Chinese, we would love to hear from you.
- Our Graduates undertake an MSc Global Business Practice; this means you must have obtained/be on track to obtain a minimum 2.1 in a Level 8 Degree (of any discipline) to be eligible for the programme.
