Working in Paris for two years has enabled me to gather first-hand insights into international markets, while developing my language and intercultural skills. My portfolio spanned a wide range of tasks, including market research, media campaigns and content creation, event planning and stakeholder management. Contributing to such varied projects has helped me to understand where my strengths lie and opened my eyes to new career paths." - Lauren Cusack

The programme has provided me with the opportunity to work directly with Irish food and drink exporters, gain exposure to international markets, and contribute to initiatives that support the growth of Ireland's world-class food and drink industry.
During my placement within the Drinks team, I have worked across a diverse range of areas, from stakeholder engagement and market research to supporting international trade events and multi-brand activations. Having the chance to engage with some of Ireland's most renowned drinks brands, attend major international industry events and contribute to initiatives supporting Irish exporters has given me a real appreciation for the passion, innovation and expertise that drive the sector forward. The experience has broadened my understanding of global food and drink markets and provided a strong foundation for my future career." - Paul Fitzgerald
