GRADSTART position available for QUALITY ENGINEER (Irish Language required)

Dominic Lydon Galway Ltd (Lydon Steel) is a major, well-established manufacturer and supplier of reinforcement steel cut & bent steel, fabric mesh and stainless steel throughout Ireland and the UK.

We are passionate in understanding how to solve our challenges of today's environmental impact in creating strategies for a more sustainable world.

We are currently looking for a Quality Graduate, with Irish, to join our team in developing our QMS and EMS. Supported by Údarás na Gaeltacht and GradStart, Lydon Steel, seeks candidates with appropriate knowledge and skills in terms of problem-solving, understanding of ISO9001, 14001 & 45001, and who can speak English and Irish.

We are currently CARES certified in the processing of reinforcement steel and have maintained the CARES Quality Management Systems certifications.

The role offers the chance to join a great team with vision. The successful candidate will be presented with an opportunity in developing and moving the company, in keeping and achieving CARES Certifications, leading on audits, new product development and creating daily inspections by implementing best practices.

The new position at Lydon Steel is supported by Údarás na Gaeltachta and the GradStart programme and has certain eligibility criteria with minimum Level 6 qualification in Quality Framework/Management or equivalent. Understanding of Environment & Sustainability is an advantage, while fluent or a very good grasp in the Irish language is required.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: €30,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
