We are currently seeking a committed and compassionate Social Worker to join a multidisciplinary Adult Mental Health Team based in South Dublin. This is a rewarding opportunity to support adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges, working collaboratively to promote recovery, wellbeing, and community integration.

About the Role:

You will work as part of a dynamic team of professionals including psychologists, occupational therapists, psychiatrists, and nurses. Your role will involve direct client support, family work, advocacy, and community liaison to ensure holistic care and recovery planning.

Key Responsibilities of the Social Worker:

• Provide psychosocial assessments and contribute to recovery-focused care plans
• Deliver individual and group interventions in line with best practice guidelines
• Support service users and families in crisis management and advocacy
• Liaise with community services, housing, and support networks
• Promote social inclusion, empowerment, and mental health recovery
• Participate in MDT meetings and contribute to service planning and evaluation

Requirements for the Social Worker:

• A recognised qualification in Social Work
• CORU registration (essential)
• Experience working in mental health or related services (desirable)
• Strong understanding of recovery principles and person-centred care
• Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
• Full driver’s licence and access to transport may be required
