The Software Developer - Senior ICT Specialist offers you the opportunity to further develop your digital and ICT career while working in some of the largest organisations in the State. These roles will suit you if you are interested in further working in areas such as software and application development (programming) including for mobile, web development and analytics. Many of the candidates who were successful in recent campaigns are now integral to and leaders of teams who have delivered critical projects of national importance and public prominence.

Although most vacancies arising over the lifetime of the panel will be located in the wider Dublin area, a limited number of vacancies may also arise in some regional locations which may be filled from this panel. The panel formed from this competition will fill Software Developer - Senior ICT Specialist vacancies across Civil Service organisations and government departments and offices such as the Department of Social Protection/ Agriculture, Food & The Marine, the Revenue Commissioners, the Central Statistics Office and Civil Service roles in An Garda Síochána.
