Tax Trainee at Andersen

Tax Trainee Positions Available:

We are currently recruiting Tax Trainees to join our busy tax team at Andersen – a brief description of the role and requirements is set out below:

Responsibilities:

• Assistance with preparation of payroll and payroll tax filings.
• Assistance with preparation of VAT computations and returns.
• Assistance with preparation of income tax computations and returns.
• Assistance with preparation of corporation tax computations and returns.
• Assistance with tax registrations.
• Assistance with various tax related tasks as required by the firm.
• Supporting the tax manager with tax deadlines
• Dealing with ongoing client queries.

Requirements:

• 1 in Graduate degree preferred, Minimum 2.1
• Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in accounting/tax/business/law is advantageous but not essential.
• Prior experience in the tax sector is advantageous but not essential.
• Willingness to pursue professional tax qualification.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, communication skills and a team player.
• Experience working with Excel, Word etc.
