- Customer Care
- Delivering front counter service to students in a friendly and efficient manner
- Supporting the administration of Societies Finances
- Assisting with queries, both in person and via phone or email & facilitating the delivery of all services from UCC Societies Reception
- Working with the Societies Portal to deliver the following services:

- Database management
- Facilitating all societies bookings, including room, equipment & vehicle bookings
- Answering queries regarding payments
- Other duties as assigned by the Societies Officer
- Updating the UCC Societies website.
Person Specification
Essential
- Must be a current student of University College Cork
- The ability to self-direct and show initiative in all your work
- Excellent communication & time management skills
- The ability to work as part of a team
- ‘Can-Do’ attitude
- A desire to learn
- Good interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated
- Knowledge of Google drive & Gmail
Desirable
- Previous Reception experience
- An interest in the behind-the-scenes workings of UCC Societies
- Knowledge of Canva, social media marketing & graphic design
The position:
The successful candidate will be working with over 110 student-led societies and will be based in the Clubs and Societies Space upstairs in the Hub.
This is a paid position. The rate of pay is €13.25 per hour in line with UCC Pay Policy for Student Help.
The position is generally term time for approx. between 6-10 hours per week, Mon – Fri (9am-5pm). Additional hours may be available from time to time
