For 2025 we are recruiting talented graduates to join our 2-year Graduate Programme across 8 Specialist Streams:

  • Engineering – Become a well-rounded engineer with rotations across Infrastructure Delivery, Asset Management & Operations and Health & Safety. Gain practical experience, develop your technical skills and work on cutting edge water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Ireland. Engineering Graduates may avail of a fully funded L9 Masters Qualification to support application for Chartership with Engineers Ireland.
  • Quantity Surveying – Gain financial and practical support to become a chartered Quantity Surveyor while gaining broad experience across Estimation & Cost Intelligence, Contract & Commercial and Construction Services. Develop your cost management and commercial skills while contributing to vital water and wastewater infrastructure projects throughout Ireland.
  • Fleet Management – Help ensure that Uisce Éireann’s fleet is fit-for-purpose, safe and compliant, and that staff are fully trained in operating our vehicles. Develop expertise in Sustainable Fleet Operations, Logistics and Asset Management while supporting the transition to an all-electric fleet and contributing to the delivery of environmentally responsible water services.
  • Information Technology – Develop your expertise in digital innovation and technology management through rotations across Cybersecurity, IT Operations and IT Build & Delivery. Become a well-rounded IT professional as you support the design and delivery of our extensive IT landscape, playing a key role in advancing sustainable water services through cutting-edge IT solutions.
  • Project & Change Management – As we go through a period of significant transformation, you will get a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing complex business projects and driving transformational change. With rotations across Project Management, Change Management and Business Process Optimisation you will build expertise in all stages of the project lifecycle from concept to completion.
  • Business & Management – Become a well-rounded generalist with rotations across three distinct business areas such as HR, Marketing, Sustainability, Legal, Strategy, Customer and Operations. Gain diverse experience, developing a broad skillset while contributing to the sustainable delivery of water services throughout Ireland.
  • Science – Contribute to the safe and reliable delivery of water services across Ireland by applying your scientific expertise in water quality, environmental protection and sustainability. With rotations across Environmental Regulation, Asset Strategy and Asset Operations you will get the opportunity to broaden your knowledge and gain a wide-ranging scientific skillset.
  • Supply Chain & Procurement – Develop expertise in sustainable procurement and supply chain management, ensuring the efficient delivery of critical resources for water services projects across Ireland. With rotations across Supply Chain Strategy Management, Tender Delivery, and Value & Performance, you will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of this increasingly important discipline.

About You

We are looking for recent or prospective honours Bachelors/Masters Graduates that can demonstrate the following:

  • A relevant educational background – those wishing to pursue the Engineering, Quantity Surveying, IT and Science Streams must have a specialist degree in that area. We accept applications from all Disciplines for the remaining streams.
  • A natural problem solver who relishes working in diverse teams, with strong communication skills.
  • Initiative, innovation and drive, and a pride in the work you deliver.
  • A keen interest, curiosity, and ambition in your work.
  • Eligible to work in Ireland for the duration of the programme.
