Our Graduate Programmes

Bring your best to the Diageo Graduate programme and you’ll go further than you ever thought possible. Our Graduate Programme is a two or three-year adventure in one of six business areas:

  • Marketing
  • Commercial Sales
  • Human Resources
  • Finance
  • Supply
  • Digital & Technology

Wherever you start, we’ll challenge and inspire you to reach your full potential.

You’ll develop knowledge in your chosen scheme area and high-quality leadership skills. This will happen through a combination of formal training, mentoring and coaching from respected colleagues and, most importantly, real world, on-the-job experience.

From the start you’ll be working on projects that will challenge you and put your skills to the test. You’ll be able to make a real contribution to the business while building a global network of relationships that will support your career, both now and long into the future.

Inclusion and Diversity

We believe it is crucial to create a culture with inclusion and diversity at its heart. Our commitment starts with our people and our aim is to ensure that everyone around the world can thrive. For our business to flourish and for Diageo to realise its ambition, we harness diverse talent from a range of backgrounds, skills and capabilities in each of the 180 countries we operate within.

We believe that diversity of thought and experience fuels growth and innovation in our organisation, bringing us closer to customers. We view diversity in the broadest possible sense, including gender, ethnicity, age, sexuality, social class, education, experience, ways of thinking and more.

We celebrate diversity everywhere and support a variety of employee groups throughout the world. These range from our women's network Spirited Women, to our Asian and African heritage groups, our Race, Ethnicity and Cultural Heritage group REACH, our LGBT+ Rainbow networks and our INC group which runs a yearly inclusivity week.

We believe everyone has a vital contribution to make to our story and we want all our people to feel part of it.

About the Application Journey

  1. Application & Eligibility - Once you’ve found a programme that suits you, simply fill in a short form and answer some basic questions so we know you’re eligible to apply. Don’t forget to let us know if you need any reasonable adjustments along the process so that we can support you.
  2. Gamification - This will take about 30 mins and can easily be done on your laptop or smartphone. You’ll be asked to play 12 games which will measure the attributes that make you, you!
  3. Video Interview - We’ll ask you to complete a HireVue video interview, it should take around 30 mins and we recommend that you use a laptop. This will give us a chance to learn more about your passions and purpose through a series of questions! Don’t worry, you get the opportunity to practice your responses before completing the interview.
  4. Virtual Assessment Centre - We’ll lastly invite you to a half-day virtual assessment centre. It’s a challenge, but a fun one. You’ll learn about our business, culture and graduate programme and we can learn about you! There’ll be a number of exercises where you can show us just how creative, passionate and collaborative you are and opportunities where you can ask any questions you may have.
