What Does a Tax Business Process Solutions Graduate Do?
Deloitte's Business Process Solution’s team offers outsourced financial and accounting services tailored to businesses of all sizes. With extensive experience and a commitment to collaborative professionalism, we support companies seeking both long-term and short-term assistance in finance, accounting, and operations.
In managing daily accounting tasks, we provide clients with comprehensive bookkeeping services, operational finance support in areas such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury, along with year-end closing and both statutory and management reporting.
We work closely with various internal teams at Deloitte, including Indirect Tax, Corporate Tax, and Corporate Secretarial, to deliver accurate reporting. This collaboration ensures that we meet our clients' regulatory obligations while maintaining efficient and transparent operations.
Role responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients, ensuring the integrity of transactions, which includes managing accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries.
- Perform bank statement reconciliation to verify financial accuracy.
- Prepare regular financial reports, such as balance sheets and profit and loss statements, to support client decision making.
- Use accounting software to record transactions and produce financial reports.
- Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, Irish GAAP).
- Support clients in audit preparation by assembling necessary documentation for auditors.
- Collaborate with clients’ finance departments.
- Potentially work on-site at client offices, assisting with various accounting and financial control tasks.
- Participate in a range of challenging short- and long-term projects, concentrating on financial process enhancements and transformation initiatives.
- Work alongside internal Deloitte teams to ensure effective collaboration across projects.

- On track for a 2:1 honours degree or higher.
