What Does a Tax Technology Summer Intern Do?

• Develop a unique combination of tax and technology skills through learning, one-to-one mentoring, and training   
• Contribute to the growth and development of our firm through networking, communication with internal & external stakeholders, and support for new business proposals and presentations  
• Address real-life business problems from inception to solution delivery including supporting the team with preparing for and delivering client meetings, collaborating on brainstorming and designing new innovative solutions for our clients using Gen AI, ERP, and other enterprise systems to solve real-time tax issues, translating business requirements into tax technology solutions, project coordination and management  
• Contribute to creating business deliverables such as requirement documents, and data visualization dashboards using technologies such as PowerBi and Tableau  
• Aid in bridging the technology knowledge and skills gap in tax departments by helping articulate the business value of technology as an enabler to our clients  
• Independently and proactively identify and research problems, driving their resolution through the preparation and presentation of well thought out proposals   
• Manage multiple tasks and contribute in our fast-paced business environment   
• Develop the ability to provide well-structured, clear, and precise deliverables with strong attention to detail.  

What we are looking for

• Academic Achievement: On track for, or have achieved, a 2.1 honors degree or higher.   
• Work Eligibility: Legal right to work in the Republic of Ireland.  ​ 
• An accounting/process/technology focused mindset.   
• Creative, problem-solving, and analytical skills.  
• A high level of self-motivation, energy, & intellectual curiosity   
• The ability to learn to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects & prioritising tasks.
