2026 Tax Summer Internship Programme

Your First Step Towards a Career in Tax and Accountancy

Our Tax Summer Internship is more than just work experience, it is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the dynamic world of tax advisory and take the first step towards a rewarding career in Tax. At William Fry, our tax team brings together lawyers, accountants, and tax advisers in one innovative group, working with domestic and international corporations, entrepreneurs, trusts, and high-net-worth individuals.

This programme is designed to give you real exposure to complex tax matters, hands-on experience, and the chance to learn from some of the best in the industry, all while building your professional network and developing skills for a future career in Tax.

Programme dates:

Eight-week programme from 8 June – 31 July 2026 

What you will be doing:

• Work with client teams on assignments from start to finish
• Gain access to challenging work on client files and liaise directly with clients and Irish Revenue
• Attend client meetings and in-house training sessions
• Assist with research for presentations and articles, and contribute to informal training sessions
• Benefit from a buddy system and one-to-one training to support your development

What we are looking for:

• Penultimate-year undergraduate students from all disciplines
• A strong interest in tax
• Excellent numerical skills
• Ability to work within deadlines
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
