The Role

Due to our continued growth and expansion we are currently seeking Trainee Accountants for immediate start to work as part of our existing Outsourcing and Audit teams in our Cork office. We believe this is an exciting opportunity for any ambitious individuals who are interested in genuine career progression.

Training throughout the 3-year contract will be varied and depends predominately on the location in which you are based. Due to the size of our firm we offer a broad range of experience with training across a wide range of areas to include (but not limited to):

  • Assisting in preparation of periodic management accounts including preparing accruals,
    prepayments and all aspects of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Weekly reporting to clients highlighting Key Performance Indicators
  • Preparation of year-end financial statements and relevant filings with CRO/Revenue
    Commissioners
  • Preparation of year end audit and audit exempt files in line with existing accounting
    framework and International Auditing Standards
  • Filing and calculation of periodic statutory returns with Irish Revenue Commissioners
    (VAT, RCT, PAYE, IT, CT, Stamp Duty, E-Levy) and UK Revenue Commissioners
  • Trainees will gain a knowledge and understanding of various software, to include
    Advanced Excel, MS Access, Data Management Software, Xero, Custom Made Integration
    Platforms, Statutory Financial Statement Software, Corporation Tax and Income tax platform
