Engineer Grade III (Mechanical) in the Office of Public Works
The Office of Public Works (OPW) is the lead agency in coordinating flood risk management policy and the flood relief capital programme in Ireland.
OPW requires the assistance of Engineers Grade III (Mechanical) in the Mechanical Engineering Field Services (MEFS) Division of OPW to support the flood risk management programme.
Vacancies currently exist in OPW’s Regional Headquarters in Newtown, Trim, Co. Meath. A panel will be formed from this competition to fill current and future vacancies which may arise in OPW’s Regional Offices in Galway, Limerick and Meath.
Reporting to an Engineer Grade II or Grade I, successful candidates will be involved in Fleet Management for OPW’s fleet of vehicles, plant and machinery, as well as in the development and implementation of Fleet & Plant Maintenance Systems.
