About the opportunity

Technology Risk forms part of our broader Assurance practice, and we provide trusted communications focused on facts and data to management, customers, and other stakeholders.
Our clients seek independent advice and assurance on diverse issues including design and operation of their internal controls, security of their business-critical systems, delivery of major IT enabled programmes, their relationships with third parties, and their management, stewardship and ability to exploit business critical data.
To continue the successful growth of our team we are looking for motivated people with the right skillset to join us. We will work with you to upskill and train you on a targeted range of approaches related to Technology Risk, Digital and Operational Resilience, IT Audit, Third Party Risk Management and Cybersecurity.
We are looking to recruit a graduate who can work directly with our clients to help them understand and address risks associated with the technologies that support their business. Across all the work streams, you will be given a large degree of autonomy and responsibility to lead meetings, identify issues and propose solutions. You will work with, and get to know, senior stakeholders in the software vendors, and at EY clients/vendor customers, up to board level.
Duties and Responsibilities

Maintaining both internally and externally recognised technical expertise in the following areas:
- Digital Operational Resilience
- IT Assurance (e.g. FAIT/ITGCS, SOC)
- IT Risk Management/Transformation
- Cybersecurity Risk Management
- IT Internal Audit
- Operational Resilience
- Third Party Risk Management
- Supporting consistent delivery of high-quality project deliverables on time and within budget.
- Supporting the management and monitoring of project management files, including project plans, risk and issue logs, project budgets, resource plans, etc.
- Developing and updating project reports, including status reports.
- Supporting the development of clear, high-quality work products for clients (with guidance).
- Supporting clients with analysing data and information where this is required.
- Help to shape creative and innovative solutions to address client business and technology issues.
- Assisting in managing financial aspects of engagements by organising staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders.
- Communicating effectively with the EY engagement team, the client, and internal and external stakeholders, as required.
- Working confidently with clients, to support building 'trusted advisor' relationships.
- Developing and maintaining your personal training and development plan to ensure you continue to update and improve your skill profile on an ongoing basis.
- Supporting collaboration and teaming activities across engagements and across the Technology Risk team.
- Building your understanding of EY’s service offerings and actively identify opportunities to better serve clients.
