About Us

We are a fast growing independent energy consultancy and are looking for smart, ambitious and hard working candidate for a graduate/experienced building energy rating assessor or BER assessor position. The company specialise in a range of services as outlined below and the successful candidate would receive training and experience in a broad range of areas including the following:

• Building Energy Ratings Commercial and/or Domestic
• Building Regulation Compliance
• Air Tightness Testing
• Ventilation Validation testing
• Sound testing
• Energy Audits

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for Building energy assessor working from our office in Navan. 

Initially it is for a domestic Building energy assessor.

The role involves tasks such as conducting energy assessments, existing and new build BERs, energy audits, technical assessments, Building Regulation Compliance etc

Depending on ability and company requirements there will be opportunity to further your career in the areas of commercial assessor, air testing, vent validation testing etc.

Training will be provided as required.

Requirements

The successful candidate will also need to have the following skills:

• Degree (Level 7 minimum) in Engineering (Mechanical/Building Services), Construction studies, or Architectural Technology or other similar discipline
• Previous experience carrying out BER Certificates will be an advantage but not necessary
• Proficiency to draw in AutoCAD.
• Possess good communication skills, ability to work on their own initiative and be customer focused
• Full clean driving licence essential
• Your own vehicle is required
• A strong attention to detail and ability to produce high quality work under pressure.
• Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
• Fluent understanding, written and reading in English is essential.
