The Role

As Quality Officer, you will be responsible for promoting and enforcing a culture of quality across EirTrade’s business. You will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with all quality regulatory requirements, implementing effective policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and providing guidance to project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor work processes and procedures to ensure there are no breaches in compliance with approved procedures and regulations.
  • Assist with conducting internal audits to ensure quality standards are adhered to at all times.
  • Assist the Quality, Compliance Monitoring & Safety Managers in keeping all policies and procedures documented and up to date
  • Assist with carrying out investigations to identify the root cause of audit findings, errors & occurrences.
  • Lead across file management and integration with IT systems.
  • Carry out supplier surveys and monitor performance.
  • Completion of customer audits
  • Assist with vendor approvals
  • Prepare and present to company management periodic quality reports
  • Collaborate with external regulators & accreditation organisations as necessary
  • Review company operational processes to ensure they are in line with regulations, standards and customer requirements
  • Attend relevant seminars to update knowledge and enhance skills

Requirements:

  • Third level recognised qualification in Aviation preferred
  • Full EU driving license and flexibility to travel between sites and office.
  • Extensive knowledge of Regulations and Quality & Safety procedures in Aviation
  • Knowledge of the "New Part 145 SMS” is an advantage
  • Understanding of Human Factors in aviation
  • Previous experience working in this type of role in the aviation sector is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with an ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
