Rooms Division Management Trainee

The Role

We are looking for a new Rooms Division Management Trainee to join our fantastic team at Chiltern Firehouse.

As a Rooms Division Management Trainee at the Firehouse, you will be joining our amazing Housekeeping team to learn all about our 26 beautiful bedrooms before starting training with our Front Office team. There will also be the opportunity to cross training with our Reservations and Revenue Manager.

At the end of your 12-month internship you will have:

• Gained an in-depth understanding of the Firehouse’s bedrooms including cleanliness and service standards, and will be able to provide valet services and inspect rooms to our high standards;
• Absorbed the Firehouse way and our approach to Guest Relations, Concierge services and gained the ability to lead a shift including room allocations, taking into account guest preferences and history;
• Met a wonderfully creative and strong team of individuals passionate about art, music, architecture and of course, most of all, hospitality!

• Experience working in a high-end hospitality environment;
• A creative and quirky person with an acute sense of their own personal style of service;
• Good knowledge of London town and an interest in the Arts and the local restaurant scene;
• Good knowledge of Opera PMS and an understanding of good housekeeping principles; and
• Someone that likes rolling up their sleeves.
