Property careers for graduates: research.

Feature image Research

The larger estate agencies have research departments where analysts, surveyors and information specialists keep abreast of political and economic trends and assess the impact of these in all key property market sectors. This involves managing property databases to track demographic, occupational and investment trends, and keeping up to date with current levels of construction and the supply and availability of space in key property sectors. You would then use this information to prepare reports on the property market both for clients and for other professionals in the company.

As with consultancy services, you need a breadth of business work experience along with excellent research and communication skills.
