Eoin Reidy, Graduate Automation Engineer, PepsiCo

My name is Eoin Reidy, and I am currently a Graduate Automation Engineer in PepsiCo Carrigaline working in the Maintenance/Automation team. I have a Bachelor's degree in Design & Manufacturing Engineering and a Master's degree in Mechatronics.

Working as a member of the site Maintenance/Automation team is a truly fulfilling job. I'm grateful that I've had the chance to work with a cross functional team. It has been a fantastic experience to work together as part of a team to accomplish a shared goal.

I've had the privilege of hearing from a variety of speakers from PepsiCo's various departments over the past six months. I've acquired some great advice and knowledge that I know will be extremely beneficial to me throughout my career.

I've been given the incredible opportunity to work outside of my comfort zone thanks to the PepsiCo graduate programme. For instance, I've started working on a project involving data and analysis with some of the other graduates, which is a field in which I have little to no expertise, however I am certain that this will be a great opportunity for me to further develop my skills and knowledge.

I would strongly encourage anyone to apply for the PepsiCo graduate program. The skills and abilities that I have developed over the past six months will undoubtedly be valuable to me throughout my future career, and I am looking forward to the opportunities and experiences that are yet to come over the next 18 months.
