The Vhi Graduate Programme has been a fantastic start to my career. After completing my Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA) in India in 2022, I moved to Ireland to pursue my MSc in Human Resource Management at Trinity College Dublin, which I completed in 2023. I was keen to begin my career in an organisation where I could gain hands-on experience, explore different areas of the business, and continue to grow both personally and professionally.
Over the two-year programme, I completed four rotations across Finance (H&W), Operational & H&W Risk, P&S, and other key areas of the business. Each rotation gave me the opportunity to work on interesting projects, build new skills, and gain a deeper understanding of how Vhi operates. The variety across the programme helped me develop a broad skillset and better understand where my strengths and interests lie.
The support I received throughout the programme has been one of the highlights of my experience. I was encouraged to take ownership of my work, ask questions, and build my confidence along the way. Vhi has a very welcoming and supportive culture, and I have always felt that people are willing to share their knowledge and help you grow.
The programme has been a great foundation for my career progression, giving me exposure across the organisation and helping me build a strong network. I also really value the focus on work-life balance, which has made my experience even more positive.
Having started as a graduate, it feels like I have come full circle as I now have the opportunity to contribute to projects that support the colleague and graduate experience at Vhi. Overall, the Graduate Programme has been a brilliant experience, and I would highly recommend it to any graduate looking for a supportive and rewarding place to start their career.
