Meet Michael, an MSc Business Management graduate

I completed my MSc Business Management in Smurfit in 2020. I always had an interest in business and in the Irish healthcare industry, so I saw the Vhi Graduate Programme as the perfect fit.

The programme afforded me the opportunity to work in a number of areas within the business, learning and developing a varied set of skills along the way. My preferred area was Finance, and I discovered that the CFP&A team was aligned with my longer-term career aspirations.

During my rotation, I presented to the Executive Management Team, which provided useful learnings and an experience that I am really proud of. The team/department gave me space to learn and encouraged me to continue further studies. As a result, I am now undertaking my CIMA qualification.
