Ireland's largest careers fair, the gradireland Graduate Careers fair is back at the RDS Simmonscourt, Dublin on Wednesday 28th of September 2022. This event is your opportunity to meet leading employers, course providers, careers advisors and find out all the opportunities available to you!
In preparation for the gradireland Graduate Careers Fair our team have put together five reasons why you should attend this year's event!
1. Face to face interaction with leading employers
This is your chance to make a great first impression with over 120 of Ireland’s top employers, who are all actively recruiting students, graduates and young professionals across a whole range of disciplines.
Before the event make sure you look at the exhibitor list and organisational profiles on the gradireland event page , make a note of exhibitors you would like to meet and questions you would like to ask them.
Many exhibitors have recent graduates now working with them available to talk to you at their stands, so ask them what working life is really like in that company or sector.
2. Access exclusive live seminars sessions with the latest recruitment advice
This year we have really taken our seminar schedule to the next level with excellent speakers and seminars throughout the day, spread across four stages.
Make sure you attend one or more of the specialist careers seminars – they are designed to give you the winning edge when it comes to applications and interviews!
Whether it’s advice about writing the perfect CV or cover letter, employability skills or top interview tips and hints, we have something for you.
3. Get your CV reviewed and ready for job applications at the CV Clinic
So, you have had a list of employers that you may be interested in applying to put together. Now you have to create the perfect CV and cover letter to illustrate all your experience and skills.
The Graduate Careers Fair will host a CV clinic, providing hours of expert advice from careers service professionals – but make sure you bring a printed copy of your CV with you and get there early on the day to secure your spot, as the CV clinic always books out really quickly.
4. Check out hundreds of open roles, graduate programmes and internships
There will be large job walls in the hall at the gradireland Graduate Careers Fair. This will have live graduate programmes and opportunities listed, use your phone to scan the QR Code of any that you are interested in applying to, save the job to your gradireland dashboard and start submitting applications!
5. Find career advice, information on jobs graduate programmes and courses
You won’t find a careers event with as many employers or course providers all under one roof. On the day, you can find information on graduate programmes, internships, or postgraduate courses, but you might not get to meet all exhibitors. So, be smart with your time - check out the floor plan and meet all the key people or organisations that are of interest to you!
The gradireland Graduate Careers Fair is completely free to attend.
