What are your main tasks in a typical week?

As a member of the technical support team, my main responsibilities involve responding, researching and resolving customer support cases. I am responsible for solving customer problems. I work with application engineers from different teams.

What skills do you need to be successful in your job?

The main skills that you need are troubleshooting and the ability to think out of the box to find the most efficient solution. Secondly, you need good communication skills to work with customers.

The ability to manage time and prioritise work is also important.

What do you love about your job?

I love that everyday is different. Everyday you have new cases. You need to be curious and innovative to solve problems. You're never bored and it's very satisfying getting to help customers with their problems.

What did you do as a student that helps your career?

I completed a master's degree in software architecture in France. During those years, when I worked on problems I was really curious and I learned how to find solutions for different problems.

I have worked as a waitress which helped me learn to like customer contact. As a first responder at Guidewire I get to combine my passion for problem solving and for customer service.

What was your career break?

I started looking for a job during the Covid pandemic so it was really hard. I saw this position on LinkedIn and it was exactly what I was looking for. I was very happy to find this job.
