Meet Denys, a Vhi Graduate Programme alumnus

After completing my Master's in Business at South East Technological University, I knew I wanted to build a career in Change Management and Project Management. The Vhi Graduate Programme seemed like the perfect opportunity to start and gain hands-on experience while developing my skills in these areas.

The programme provided me with a fantastic opportunity to experience different parts of the business over a two-year period. My first rotation in the Transformation Office gave me valuable exposure to how change initiatives are delivered across the organisation. Throughout the programme, I also worked in HR, Marketing and Hospital@Home, which gave me a well-rounded understanding of Vhi from a variety of perspectives and helped me build a strong professional network across the business.

One of the most valuable aspects of the programme was the professional development it offered. Through exposure to a wide range of projects and programmes, I developed key skills, grew in confidence and gained experience that continues to benefit me in my career today. The programme ultimately helped me secure a permanent role within the H&W Project Management Operations Office, and I credit it with providing the strong foundation, opportunities and support that have contributed to my career progression at Vhi.
